Rankings across three time controls

Standard, rapid, and blitz are scored separately because they measure different things. A player who calculates deeply and slowly is a different player at three minutes than at thirty, and collapsing that into a single number hides more than it shows.

Ratings update after every rated game, so the board reflects current form rather than a peak somebody reached months ago.

How to climb it

Play rated games in one time control consistently rather than spreading across all three. Ratings converge on your real strength faster with a denser sample, and a rating built on twelve games is mostly noise.

Review your losses. The engine analysis after each game marks the move where the position actually turned, which is usually several moves before the blunder you remember making.
